If you are concerned about end times events, this has been an interesting week. And it seems to be culminating with a massive asteroid, called Apophis, the god of Chaos, buzzing by earth sometime today. In his explanation of the end times, Jesus warned about the terrors from the sky (Luke 21:11), and in his vision of the end times, the Apostle John saw an asteroid the size of a mountain slamming into one of the earth’s ocean destroying thousands of ships (Revelation 8:8-9). So does a hundred-story asteroid classify as a mountain? On a side note, it will miss today, but astronomers warn that the ‘god of chaos’ is scheduled to make a return visit in 2068.
