A Time of Refreshing: The Holy Spirit is moving on Native American Tribes

CBN reports that there has been an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Native tribes in America, hard hit by substance abuse and, more recently, COVID. Pastors Russel and Donna Stands-Over-Bull, who are members of the Crow Tribe, stated that God has been pouring out His Holy Spirit on Native Americans since they started Arrow Creek TV e-church in 2018. “We’ve been having healing revivals over the online church,” Russell told CBN. “God’s been healing people through social media. People are giving their hearts to the Lord.” CBN shared the testimony of how a young woman from the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana, who the Holy Spirit delivered from her addiction to Meth. Windy Cross Guns shared what happened on the day police busted her house. As she stood outside her home, all she was concerned about was the drugs in her hand and not of her baby granddaughter, who was still in the house. It is a rare treat  these days with both of us retired and home together. So when he closed the door behind him, a peaceful silence wrapped itself around me like a warm blanket. I had the next two hours to myself. So, what did I decide to do? Vacuum of course! But the Holy Spirit had other ideas. As I leaned over to pick up the hose, I felt a nudge. It was  like a slight wind on my back. Initially, I thought it was the silence and peace settling on me. Then, I felt a breath blowing over me. And immediately, there was a stirring in my spirit and what seemed like a flame igniting inside me as the Holy Spirit engulfed me. The ‘set times’ of refreshing?

CBN is reporting on a revival that has broken out in Greeneville, Tennessee, a small town in the Northern part of the state with a population of just over 15,000 people. It started on April 15, 2018 at the Greystone Freewill Baptist church. The church had invited Evangelist D.R. Harrison to speak at a week-long revival meeting. By the third week, it was standing room only at the church. The pastor was becoming concerned because more people were wanting to attend than there was room in the church. As they were praying for direction, a North Carolina man stepped forward donating a large 80 foot by 140 foot tent that could seat up to 1,500 people. With this extra room the revival has continued unabated for three months with people attending from several states and a variety of denomination backgrounds.
