While she was taking skiing lessons as a young girl, Elizabeth Chatka found herself struggling to keep her balance. She later went to the doctor and after a series of tests was diagnosed with Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSH), CBN reports, FSH is an inherited disorder caused by a genetic mutation, hence no known cure, that results in a weakening of the muscles particularly in the face, shoulders and arms. Though not deadly, 20% of cases result in people having to use a wheelchair. It is a rare condition with less than 40,000 cases reported in the US, and it usually shows up in people between the ages of 15 – 30. Because of her condition Elizabeth struggled with constant pain and found herself needing to rest while others were out having fun. But she had grown up in a Christian home and for several years sought God for healing. But nothing changed. Miracle at Mall of America

On Easter Sunday (April 20, 2019), Pastor Mac Hammond of Living Word Christian church in Minneapolis, Minnesota provided an update on the miraculous recovery of Landon, 5, who was thrown from the balcony of Mall of America by Emmanuel Aranda, 24, on Friday, April 12, 2019. Police stated that Aranda had purposefully gone to the mall that day to kill someone. In fact, he had planned to throw an adult over the railing a day earlier, but could find no suitable candidate. According to Hammond, when Landon’s mom arrived at the mall around 10:30 am, God warned her of danger: “Going into the mall, Landon’s mom had a premonition, the Holy Ghost gave her a warning, and in her words a dread came over her, but you know she didn’t feel like she could turn around and leave, because she was supposed to meet this other mom and son there, and so she prayed. Peer-reviewed medical study reveals that God heals even if you don’t believe in divine healing

Texas doctors stunned as rare, deadly, incurable brain tumor miraculously disappears

For several months, the media has been following the case of, Roxli Doss, 11, a girl living in Buda, Texas who neurosurgeons diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in June 2018. It all started with Roxli’s complaints of head aches and double vision and after going to the doctor she was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of brain cancer — Diffuse Instrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). According to doctors it was an incurable form of brain cancer that would begin to affect her breathing and heart rate and areas of the brain that affects how we “see, hear, walk, talk and eat.” Eventually it hindering your basic ability breath, eat and live. When news came out, the community rallied around the family. Fundraising events were held and a Gofundme page was set up for help to pay the medical bills.
