Poll: Americans cite the government as the country’s biggest problem
In Jan 2023 Gallup Poll, Americans were asked to rank the greatest problems facing America. At the top of the list was government with 21 percent stating it was the country’s biggest concern. In a similar poll held in Nov/Dec 2022, only 15% believed that the government was America’s biggest headache. Inflation came in second at 15% in the January poll. This was followed by immigration at 11%, the economy at 10% and unifying the country at 6%. It could be argued that the government is largely responsible for all the top five concerns facing America.
