Are Left-wing Extremists Infiltrating Climate Groups?

According to Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), far-left extremists are infiltrating various Climate Change groups, including Greta Thunberg’s Fridays for Future. Many of these left-wing radicals are pushing communism.

Why is Montana’s Glacier National Park changing its signs?

There is strange thing happening in Glacier National Park, located in Montana, USA, they have already replaced some signs and are planning to change others. It is not that changing or even removing signs is unique in itself, as that probably happens on a semi regular basis in the park, but what is strange, is the reason why. Because of the hysteria built up around man-made Global Warming, the park had been told by the US Geological Survey that its glaciers, the very reason for the park’s existence, would disappear by 2020. The signs dutifully put up by park officials about ten years ago warned visitors its glaciers will have all melted away by this year. Basically, they were saying in our social media driven climate, get one last selfie before they melt away. Well in 2019, it was very apparent due to increased snowfall that the glaciers would not be gone in 2020. You will see the full irony in the increased snowfall in Dr. Viner’s quote at the end of this article. Uncharacteristically, …

Is it time to rein in the man-made global warming hysteria?

The recent arrival of Greta Thunberg, an environmental activist based out of Sweden, has certainly caught everyone’s attention. The 16-year-old’s fearful, emotional and angry presentation to the UN was viewed by millions as she warned of an imminent environmental apocalypse if governments didn’t immediately reduce CO2 emissions. And she is not alone, many young people are feeling a similar anxiety. According to an article entitled “Climate change poses mental health risks to children and teens” published on Science News for Students, the fear mongering over climate change is causing mental health issues for students. Unfortunately, the discussion of global warming has become so politicized, it is almost impossible to separate the rhetoric from the truth. But in the midst of all this, you may have missed a few major news stories that were not the flavor of the day, so basically ignored by most of the main line media. They were calling into question all the hysteria surrounding the issue of climate change. Nobody denies that global warming is taking place. What is questioned is …

The Cult of Environmental Activism

Yesterday, I was working in a small city that I will call Pleasantville because it’s a nice place, with clean streets, green parks and many tall trees, and where most people are polite. It’s a center for the economy of a large region and it has a university campus. It’s also full of retired people because of the low house prices. I’m sure you get the picture. I was in a car, waiting at a red light at a busy intersection, with another person. Suddenly, on my left, I saw someone walking through the intersection, and not on the sidewalk. That person was followed many others, two or three hundred, including at least one person in a wheel chair, and several babies. This was in a city where everyone waits for a walk light, and crosses carefully at the designated crosswalk, showing respect and courtesy to the neighbors. It’s that kind of place. It was shocking to see a large crowd walk through a busy intersection, even when the light was red for them, in …

Climate Change and the Second Coming of Jesus

Do you believe the ‘End is Nigh’? Do you think the world is about to change in a big way, and we can’t reverse the change? Do you believe that Jesus is coming back soon? These days, almost everyone who is anyone believes one of those ideas, or something similar. There is a sense everywhere that this time in history will end soon. Our little day is approaching sunset. So, who believes in climate change? Who thinks we are altering our environment, and we will have intense global warming, with severe food shortages; and the ice caps will melt and the oceans will rise and flood coastal cities? Our leaders in this are politicians and celebrities. It’s a New Age religion, Jesus is not mentioned, but the Bible has been telling us for thousands of years that the end will come, and now everyone is starting to believe. Christians have called this the ‘Second Coming’ and the New Age leaders might talk about Global Warming. Strangely, whether we are believers or deniers in Jesus, we …

Whoops this wasn’t supposed to happen, massive Greenland glacier is now regrowing

There was stunning news about a glacier on Greenland. It has been happening for the past couple years, but kept quiet until the news was released in an article in Nature Geoscience. NASA is reporting that the massive Jakobshavn Glacier is growing. Some consider it the king of glaciers because it was once one of the fastest shrinking glaciers in the Northern Hemisphere and scientists are admittedly shocked by the recent development. Because of this melting, the glacier became the poster child of man-made global warming enthusiasts who warned that unless we stopped CO2 emissions the rising oceans would wash away New York City and other coastal  cities. Now it is true that since 2012, the massive glacier shrunk about 1.8 miles per year and those in the man-made global warming camp immediately attributed it to the rising CO2 emissions. But that melting suddenly stopped in 2016 when the glacier started re-growing at the same rate it was shrinking. Yes, it is now growing at a rate of 1.8 miles a year. But here is …

American radical-leftist politician, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, warns we have just 12 years to stop man-made global warming

When US Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the newly elected radical leftist and rising star in the Democratic party, recently issued a warning that the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t stop man-made global warming she was just parroting the propaganda being released by UN climate change report in October 2018. The report was part of the UN’s Paris climate accord. In order to hold global warming to 1.5 degrees by 2030, we would need to reduce CO2 emissions by 45% below 2010 levels and then by have our emissions reach zero by 2050 in order for there to be a 66% chance of holding it to just a 1.5 Celsius degree temperature rise. With temperatures scheduled to reach -30 Celsius in the next three days where I live, I would be delighted if it was a balmy -28.5 Celsius instead. Of course this is not the first time we have received such dire warnings. In his 2007, Nobel Peace prize acceptance speech, Al Gore predicted that the arctic would be ice …

Man-made error in man-made global warming study, oceans are not 60% warmer

On October 31, 2018, a report released in the prestigious peer-reviewed science journal Nature, broadcast that man-made global warming was much more serious than generally believed, because between 1991 and 2016, the oceans absorbed 60% more heat than previously thought. They concluded from this that the earth must also be warming faster. The report produced by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography was front page news in major dailies and online news around the world. In an interview with the Washington Post, Princeton professor Laure Resplandy, who led the study, stated: “We thought that we got away with not a lot of warming in both the ocean and the atmosphere for the amount of CO2 that we emitted. But we were wrong. The planet warmed more than we thought. It was hidden from us just because we didn’t sample it right. But it was there. It was in the ocean already.” It was giddy times for those promoting the man-made global warming mantra calling for carbon taxes and cuts in CO2 emissions. But the celebration only …

The boy who cried ‘polar bear’

“The boy who cried wolf” is one of Aesop’s fables about a shepherd boy who repeatedly tricked the people in the village about a false claim that wolves were attacking his flock. When wolves did attack, the people didn’t believe him and the flock was destroyed. Today the phrase “to cry wolf” speaks of “raising false alarms.” And we seem to have the same thing happening today. People promoting man-made global warming are using all sorts of elaborate claims to get our attention. One of them suggests the polar bear population is dying off because bears are unable to hunt on the ice. However, a report recently produced by the Nunavut government, a territory in Northern Canada, is stating the exact opposite. The people in the arctic are claiming the bear population is booming and actually becoming a hazard to people. The draft report stated: “Public safety concerns, combined with the effects of polar bears on other species, suggested that in many Nunavut communities, the polar bear may have exceeded the co-existent threshold.” As a …

Global warming taking a vacation this summer in parts of the Arctic

Though we are still getting the usual rhetoric about how man-made climate change is destroying the earth unless we act immediately, we are not hearing about the unusual climatic conditions affecting parts of the Arctic this year. There is a reason for that. This summer has been a been a particularly cold one in Greenland and it doesn’t fit the man-made global warming narrative that the ice is melting and will result in rising ocean levels unless we immediately do something to reduce CO2 emissions. But not only is the cold weather disrupting the narrative of the climate-change activists and politicians, the cold weather is also having a profound impact on shore birds that nest along Greenland’s coastline each summer. According to Scientific American, typically by June the snow has receded in Greenland allowing shore birds to nest and raise their young in July. However, this year has been cold and the ice and snow has continued into the summer preventing shore birds from finding food and nesting spots. In an interview with Scientific American, …

Is the climate-change fear-mongering starting to waver?

In recent weeks, two major publications have dared to question one of the main tenants of man-made global warming — fear-mongering — predicting one catastrophe after another if we don’t reign in carbon emissions. Of course, we refer it to today as climate change, but it started out as global warming. Many still wonder why the activists wanted this name change? With the man-made climate change agenda largely driven by those on the left of the political spectrum, they have dramatically tried to shout down any dissenters. But recently, scientists and others are showing a bravery to face the barrage of criticism that comes their way when they don’t fall in line with the basic beliefs of the climate-change agenda. First it was an article in Scientific American that advised everyone to chill out because things are not nearly as bad as every one is screaming. The most recent challenge involved two climatologists, Nic Lewis and Judith Curry, who wrote a peer-reviewed study stating the climate models the activists are using to proclaim the coming …

What I find so annoying about Justin Trudeau’s carbon tax

Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, is implementing a carbon tax that will increase the price to heat our homes, turn on our lights and run our cars. Yet Canada only produces 1.6% of the CO2 emissions in the world. Even if we completely closed down the country, it would have absolutely no impact on global temperatures. It is all just a symbolic act. I recently produced a video on some things I find annoying about Trudeau’s carbon tax. Yes, I make a couple of comments about my wife in this video. We have been married for nearly 40 years and everyone who knows us feel absolutely sorry for her. Most think she should be officially declared a saint for having put up with me for nearly four decades.

Blame the sun, not SUVs

It was -29C when I woke up this morning and that is good news, because it was colder last week. It’s a sign things are warming up. I had to stick a battery charger on my SUV the day before Christmas when it decided not to start. Thankfully we were able to get it going without calling a tow truck. Ironically, many activists love blaming SUVs and oil consumption generally on the global warming hitting the earth. Yet despite claims by man-made global warming alarmists that the science is settled, in 2017 there were 120 research papers written that concluded global warming has very little to do with man’s activity (oil and CO2 emissions) but more to do with the sun. No one is arguing that the earth has recently gone through a warming trend, what is being questioned is the cause. According to Kenneth Richards at NoTrickZone, the 120 papers published in several scientific journals reported there is a correlation between the earth’s heating and cooling trends to two things — sunspot activity and …

The crime of climate-change denial

North America had a solar eclipse on August 21, 2017, followed by a string of hurricanes and earthquakes in Mexico. Also, we have been warned that the world will end, or begin to end, on September 23, 2017. RELATED: Will the World End on Saturday, September 23, 2017? This is ammunition for people who believe in global warming, or climate change caused by all the carbon dioxide we are putting in the atmosphere. Some of them are saying that “denial”, disagreement with their ideas is criminal because it will lead to human suffering. We need to take action to prevent a disaster. They have an opposing side that believes climate change is caused by radiation pulses from the the sun, and volcanoes produce more carbon dioxide than humans do. RELATED: Sorry, But With Global Warming It’s The Sun, Stupid In Canada, the solar people advertised on buses that the sun causes climate change, and the atmosphere people convinced the government to start an investigation for criminal charges. The investigation was suspended after 14 months, but it …

129F (53.7C) — setting a heat record in Iran

I may have to eat my words, a quaint way of saying I was wrong. In a post a few months back, I was talking about some hot weather the earth experienced this past June, when locations in both the US and England were experiencing near record temperatures. I found it interesting because in the Book of Revelation, the Apostle John saw extreme heat as one of the judgments that God would pour in the earth in the end times: The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. 9 Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory. (Revelation 16:8-9 NASV) In my earlier post, Turning up the Heat, I noted that though it was extremely hot in these areas of the world in June, they were not temperatures records and because of that I stated: “I do not believe the …

Ice problems north and south

English explorer Pen Hadow was planning to sail from Alaska to the North Pole this year to reveal the impact that man-made global warming has had on reducing ice in Canada’s arctic. In an article in the UK Times, a representative for the group said: “The secondary objective is to sail as far north as the sea ice safely allows us, possibly even to the North Pole.” However, this expedition made up of two sail boats was forced to cancel its trip because of excessive ice surrounding the North Pole. According to the director of America’s National Snow and Ice Data Center (ANSIDC), Professor Mark Serreze, a person could only reach the North Pole with an ice breaker, because it “was still surrounded by nearly 800 miles of solid packed ice as of last week.” ANSIDC reported that this year’s ice bank was the fifth lowest level of ice concentration in the arctic recorded by satellite images. If you read between the lines it shows the ice cap was much lower several times in the …

Turning up the heat

The recent heat waves being experienced in the America Southwest and England may have an odd connection to a passage in the book of Revelation: 8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. 9 Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory. (Revelation 16:8-9 NASV) This past week Arizona experienced some very hot weather, but it did not break the 122 degree heat record set in that US state on June 26, 1990. Nevertheless for three consecutive days (June 19-21), Phoenix, Arizona broke or equaled heat records for their city with temperatures of 118F, 119F and 116F respectively. The high temperatures that reached into areas of California resulted in the National Weather Service issuing a warning about “heat-related illnesses.” In the United Kingdom, they are experiencing some of the hottest weather in 40 years. Heathrow reached 34.5C (94F) this past …

The 20-year global warming pause?

A recent paper written by climate scientist Benjamin Santer has caused a stir among those entrenched in the man-made global warming camp and those who are not. In his paper published on Nature Geoscience, Santer, who believed in man-made global warming , stated that there has been no global warming for the past 18 years. This is nothing short of heresy among global warming activists. For several years skeptics have pointed out that satellite records reveal there has been no warming on earth for nearly two decades. If CO2 is the cause of global warming, this warming should not have stopped because the world continues to pour record amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere each year. This pause suggests other natural forces must be affecting climate temperature. Global warming activists were predictably outraged and those in skeptic camp shocked when Santer’s paper came out. One climate scientist Roger A Pielke Sr tweeted “Wow!” when he read the news. Santer, along with Carl Mears, manage the Remote Sensing satellite temperature data set. But in his paper …

What do ancient tropical forests in the Arctic and Antarctic tell us?

When we look at the Antarctic we think of it as one giant bed of ice with the odd penguin strutting its stuff. But in the 1980s beneath all that ice and snow, scientists discovered the remains of a large giant forest located at the base of the Transantarctic mountain range. It’s estimated the forest covered an area of 1,300 kilometers. Of course, where there is a forest there was also animal life, besides penguins. They have found vast quantities of dinosaur bones, including a lizard that grew to 23 feet in length. Of course predictably they say that they are million of years old, but meanwhile the wood from these ancient forests hasn’t fully petrified, it can still burn and float. The Transantarctic Mountain range differs from other mountains in that its made up largely of sedimentary rock formed by layers of dirt and sand laid down by water. It is not much different in the northern Arctic. A similar forest was found on Axel Heiberg Island located just 600 kilometers from the North …

Arctic ice cap roaring back

According to an article in the Daily Caller, the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) is reporting Greenland’s ice sheet is returning with a vengeance. The agency added that since January 1, 2017, Greenland’s ice sheet gained 8 gigatons of snow and ice. It noted the ice has been increasing since October. This increase is far above the normal rates seen this time of year, and DMI stated it is one of the highest growth rates in recent years. DMI has been monitoring the size of Greenland’s ice sheets for 24 years. Over the summer, those promoting man-made Global warming  trumpeted the arctic’s shrinking ice cap as evidence of man-made global warming. Of course, it always melts during the summer, but the melt this past year was aided by a strong El Nino effect that warmed the 2015-2016 winter. Once every three to five years, an El Nino occurs that results in warm waters — that should be pooling around Indonesia and the Philippines — moving eastward and settling along the coast of South America. Depending on …

The first man-made global warming deniers — Scott and Shackleton?

Those in the man-made global warming camp have repeatedly tried to slag those who don’t agree with them as deniers, equating them with people who deny the Jewish holocaust. It is not about the issue of warming, because the earth has been regularly warming and cooling for centuries as part of its natural cycles, it is whether or not man is causing it. Just recently researchers from England’s University of Reading went through the log books of turn of the 19th-century Antarctic explores Earnest Shackleton and Robert Scott. They made a horrifying discovery for those embedded in the man-made global warming camp. Scott and Shackleton’s 100 year-old log books revealed that the Antarctic ice bed was basically the same size then, as it is today. This means despite the cries of ‘wolf,’ the Antarctic ice bed has not shrunk because of human activity. For those in the man-made global warming camp, melting of the polar ice caps because of CO2 is at the very core of their beliefs. This will cause sea levels to rise, …

Solar concern: The Sun is shooting blanks

Paul Dorian is a noted meteorologist and sun watcher and earlier this month he expressed his concerns that the sun shot blanks twice in June. This takes place when the sun looks blank because of a lack of sun spots or solar activity. He said that the sun went completely blank on June 4 and solar activity did not start-up again until June 8th and then again on June 23. In between those two blank periods, Dorian described the sun spots as “sporadic.” According to NASA the sun goes through a 11-year cycle of increased and decreased sun spot activity called a “solar maximum” and “solar minimum.” This is the normal life of the sun. Dorian says the recent spur in blanks indicates the sun is entering the minimum part of its cycle. However, in what he describes as the “Weakest solar cycle in more than a century,” the extreme nature of the minimum is concerning him. This could be paving the way for a much more alarming solar event called a “Maunder minimum.” Similar …

So what caused the 1910 Paris flood — SUVs?

The recent flooding in Paris that saw the Seine River break its banks has brought out dozens of environmental apologists claiming it was caused by man-made global warming. Of course, they are insinuating that if we don’t cut back carbon emissions more of the same awaits us. One man-made global warming article shrilly shouted in its headline: Climate Change Made the Flooding in France More Deadly. Unfortunately, there is a bit of problem with the messaging. This is not the first time Paris has flooded and this wasn’t even the worst flood. French Artist Julien Knez caused a bit of a stir when he used a bunch of old photos of the Great Paris Flood of 1910 and then took pictures of the same spots during this year’s flood allowing us to compare the impact of the two deluges. As the photos show, the 1910 flood was actually higher as the Seine River peaked at 8.62 meters above normal compared to only 6.1 meters above normal when it reached its maximum level on June 3 …

Separating myth from fact on man-made global warming

The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 21) is going full-bore in Paris. The conference held annually started November 30 and is scheduled to end December 11. It will be the UN’s 21st attempt to have countries commit to binding agreements to reduce CO2 emissions to stop man-made global warming. Up to now, the UN has failed but they are hoping this year’s conference will be different. They are optimistic because of the recent change in the Canadian government, which has been one of the major opponents to a climate agreement. Recently elected Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is fully on board with reducing CO2 emissions. It also appears the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris ten days earlier on November 20th killing 129 people was just too much of a temptation for UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon who is pushing for an agreement. In an interview with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Ki-moon suggested there might be a connection between global warming and increased terrorism. Apparently, the Paris attack has nothing to do with radicalized …

NASA fesses up — the Antarctic ice pack has been increasing in size for the past 33 years

It’s a major confession for an organization that has promoted man-made global warming for the past couple of decades. But confession is good for the soul. A new study released by NASA shows that the Antarctic ice sheet has increased in size each year since 1992. The report appeared in the October 30th issue of Journal of Glaciology. The thawing of the polar ice caps has been one of the major cornerstones of UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) push to have country’s sign a climate treaty. It claims if we don’t reign in CO2 emissions, the ice caps will melt causing ocean levels to rise, sinking islands and washing away coastal cities. Unfortunately, the facts are not lining up with the fear mongering as the NASA report shows during the very period the IPCC claimed the Antarctic ice cap was shrinking, it was actually increasing in size. Using satellites, NASA measured the height of the Antarctic ice caps. These measurements revealed between 1992 and 2001, the Antarctic ice cap gained 112 billion tons …

Does the defeat of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper pave the way for a one-world government?

I know it’s a bizarre headline, but I am not the one suggesting it. The statement was made by England’s Lord Christopher Monckton. He believes the recent electoral defeat of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper could pave the way for a one-world government. Now before you jump to the conclusion that Monckton is some type of flake, I would like to tell you a bit more about this English Lord. Monckton is the Third Viscount of Benchley. He currently serves as a policy adviser to the Science and Public Policy Institute. Over the years, he has served as an adviser to English Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and in 1986 advised Thatcher to investigate the influence of CO2 on earth temperatures. This led Thatcher to set up the Hadley Centre for Forecasting. Monckton has since changed his mind about man’s influence on Global Warming and spends his time exposing the error that man is influencing global temperatures. He is an expert on Global Warming and has been called four times to testify on the issue before …

Top American physicist comes out: He doesn’t believe in man-made global warming

Though theoretical Physicist Freeman Dyson is a strong supporter of Barack Obama, he disagrees with the U.S. President in one fundamental area — Dyson does not believe in man-made global warming. Dyson stated this while Obama is on the campaign trail pushing governments to approve a global warming treaty at this year’s climate conference to be held in Paris November 30 – December 11, 2015. Dyson used to believe in man-made Global warming and was one of the first scientists to begin studying it 25 years ago when he worked for Oak Ridge National Laboratory. But after years of research he no longer does. Dyson is a prolific author writing several books and scientific papers on a variety of issues. He has also received many awards for his work. He just did an interview with The Register after writing a foreword for a recently published scientific paper. In the interview he states that while he is 100% behind Obama, the Republicans are 100% right to question man-made global warming. The paper that Dyson wrote the …

Where did all the Arctic ice come from?

Each summer, the CCGS Amundsen, a research vessel, navigates the Canadian Arctic doing dedicated arctic research on behalf of a group of universities. The funding is paid for in part by the Canadian government. The plan this year called for a 115 day journey to the North Baffin Island. Researchers on board typically run experiments 24 hours a day. However, prior to becoming CCGS Amundsen, it was an icebreaker for the Canadian Coast Guard and ran under the name of Sir John Franklin. It was converted into a research vessel in 2003 and renamed. This year because of the growing ice bed in the Canadian Arctic, the CCGS Amundsen was forced to stop its research and help rescue a number of commercial vessels hindered by the ice on Hudson Bay. They were resupplying a number of coastal villages in the area. The Coast Guard has two ice breakers in the area but when they became overwhelmed with the growing ice bed, the Coast Guard was forced to redeploy the CCGS Amundsen as an ice breaker. …

Is the world entering a mini-ice age?

[by Dean Smith] In a bit of surprising move, England’s MET Office admits there is a possibility the world could be entering a mini-ice age — at this point they only believe there is 15% to 20% chance this will happen. The MET Office is Britain’s government-run national weather service. The report written by the MET and researchers from the University of Colorado and several universities in England say this prediction is based on a noticeable reduction in sun spots which indicates reduced solar activity. A prolonged reduction, called a “Maunder Minimum,” can result in significant cooling on the earth. It was named after astronomer Walter Maunder who was the first person to peg the cooling that peaked between 1645 to 1715 with reduced sun spot activity.

Arctic ice cap is roaring back

[by Dean Smith] Stunning new satellite images of the Canadian Arctic show a remarkable transformation taking place. The polar ice is coming back, with a vengeance. The image above compares the size of the Arctic ice cap on May 25, 1995 with May 25, 2015. It is a service available through the University of Illinois’s Cryosphere project that has tracked the size of the polar ice cap by satellite since 1979. You can compare the ice cap on any two dates by simply clicking here. The purple represents the ice cap. The darker the purple the thicker the ice and you can see the ice cap is not only growing, but it is getting thicker. But as you look at these two dates, you can see that the ice has almost completely returned to 1995 levels. It was just eight years ago, because of man-made global warming, that Al Gore predicted the Arctic ice cap could be completely gone by 2014. In his 2007 Nobel Prize acceptance speech, Gore told the audience:

Despite record CO2 levels in March, there has been no global warming for nearly 19 years

[by Dean Smith] Since May 1974, the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has been tracking CO2 concentrations in the earth’s atmosphere. In a recent release, NOAA announced that the month of March of this year had the highest level of CO2 in the atmosphere of any month since the organization started tracking CO2 concentrations. It uses 40 sites to record CO2 levels. Computers then calculate the global average using these measurements. For all 31 days of March, NOAA recorded CO2 levels of 400 parts per million. However, this finding is not good news for those pushing the man-made global warming agenda because of greenhouse gas. The reason: for the 18th year, fifth month in a row, global warming temperatures have not risen as measured by the Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) on satellites.

Truth versus perception: CO2 and global warming

[by Dean Smith] My wife, daughter and I were recently watching a favorite program on Netflix, when I hit the pause button. “I have a simple question for both of you,” I said. It was part of my less than scientific survey on perceptions surrounding global warming. “If we cut out a swath of the earth’s atmosphere made up of 10,000 atoms and molecules, how many of them would be CO2.” What would be your answer to this question?

Book of Revelation warns global warming is coming, just not yet, and not because of CO2

[by Dean Smith] This past January, it was broadcast that 2014 was the warmest year on record. As I recently wrote, a major English newspaper, The Telegraph, reported there was some re-jigging of the original temperature data that resulted in 2014 winning the award for the hottest year. One area in South America showed some of the highest temperatures. However, when others fact checked the original temperature data they found something strange. Between 1950 and 2011, the original temperature data from rural weather stations in Paraguay showed temperature had dropped 1 degree C. However, once this temperature data was adjusted, the temperature data instead showed a 1.5 degree Centigrade increase.

Is someone playing around with global warming temperatures?

In January, news was broadcast around the world that 2014 was the warmest year on record. In fact, the stats for those promoting this opinion showed there was only a 38% chance this prediction was right, and a 62% chance it was wrong. But in a matter of days 38% became a 100% fact. However, some in the media began to notice the discrepancy and published their concerns about the prediction. Now a major English newspaper, The Telegraph, is reporting another bizarre twist in the claim 2014 was the hottest year on record.
