The COVID pandemic became political months ago, and a recent poll reveals how true that is.
According to The Blaze, politics played a major role in a poll conducted by Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports on Jan 5, 2022:
- When asked if the people should be fined or even jailed for questioning the effectiveness of the vaccines: 48% of Democrats said yes, compared to only 14% of Republicans and 18% of Independents.
- When asked if governments should fine people who are not vaccinated for COVID: 55% of Democrats said yes, compared to only 19% of Republicans.
- When asked if children should be removed from the homes of unvaccinated parents: 29% of Democrats said yes, compared to only 7% of Republicans.
- When asked if the unvaccinated should be forced into camps: 45% of Democrats said yes, while 71% of all voters said no. Note: when asked if the unvaccinated should be confined at home, 59% of Democrats said yes.
