Australia’s Draconian lockdowns resume

Sydney, Australia, ‘paradise lost’

The video of the takedown of an elderly man in Queensland, Australia by police because he wasn’t wearing a mask is being reported around the world.

The man was allegedly exempt from wearing a mask because of a medical condition, which the police, who were undoubtedly just following orders, chose to ignore as they handcuffed him.

According to the Daily Mail, his wife tried to explain to police that her husband had a medical exemption.

The video shows the man, who suffers from both a heart and lung issues, desperately trying to reach for his medication as he collapses to the ground convulsing.

It is part of the totalitarian lockdown being imposed in different parts of Australia, including bringing in the army and helicopters to enforce the lockdowns and stay-at-home orders.

Part of the problem is that some of the country’s health officials are demanding ‘zero COVID’ cases (absolutely impossible), while at the same time failing to provide vaccines. Sydney (population five million) has some of the most Draconian lockdown measures in Australia, and the Daily Mail reports that only 17% of adults living in Sydney are vaccinated.
