Meet Trudeau’s recent appointee to Canada’s senate?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just appointed Yuen Pau Woo to the Canadian senate. In a recent Tweet, Woo told Canadians that we must accept the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) jurisprudence that allows state police to kidnap Canadians on trumped of charges of spying in response to Canada’s arrest of a Huawei executive (daughter of the founder) at the request of the US government.

A Chinese official even admitted that the CCP’s arrest of the two Canadians was directly linked to Canada’s arrest of the Huawei executive. The spy charges were apparently just a formality. Of course, the CCP has since denied this was the case. The Trudeau government also recently threatened to withdraw funding for a prestigious security organization, if it continued with its plan to present a public service leadership award to Taiwan’s president, Tsai Ing-wen.
