Made Up News; We are being baited.

Some protesters organized a rally, in the name of Black Lives Matter, in the town of Innisfail Alberta. That’s a town of about seven thousand, surrounded by farms, and popular with retired people. There is no notable history of racism.

When the local people heard about activists driving in from big cities far away, some of them got angry. I believe they didn’t want to be pulled under the bus; their town is not like the big cities in the news.

When the rally happened, a few people were angry and other people were nice, in a small town way. An activist made a speech in a vacant lot near a supermarket, and then everyone went home. The ugly brawl never happened.

We create news when we answer an angry person, with our own anger. That is the outcome some people were hoping for in Innisfail, but I think those nice small town people won this round.

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly. (Proverbs 15:1 and 2)
