THE VISION - Indigeneous Worship

Heart Sounds International exists to help ignite biblically appropriate and culturally relevant heart worship in places where Christ-followers are restricted, persecuted or unknown. Since God has fashioned each people group with their own cultural and linguistic distinctives, he is most glorified when these unique gifts are offered back to him in worship. These culturally-appropriate forms of Christian worship result in a far greater release of energy, life, and passion.

WORSHIP WEB SITE

How would you like to see on a global scale just how diverse Christian worship really is?  HSI’s co-founder Ken Davidson and his wife, Dana, have created a YouTube showcase of worship recorded by Heart Sounds International teams traveling around the world. The series is called “Sounds of Global Worship” and available for viewing online at: www.youtube.com/user/HSIOM. Each of the three to four minute videos showcase the wonderful glory of God as it is being expressed in a multitude of styles, languages, instruments and dances from many countries across the globe. Currently, 34 videos comprise the series and will increase to 55-60 videos in the coming months.

AN AMAZING RESPONSE

The first videos of Sounds of Global Worship were uploaded five months ago and we are thrilled with the early response. To date, over 33,000 viewers have watched these videos. According to Ken, “God is using these videos to speak to many people all over the world.”

The single most viewed video is about the Dinka People of Sudan. They have suffered extreme persecution, yet have discovered an incredible strength in worship in the midst of their troubles. Other favorites include videos of worship in Malawi-Africa; South Africa; India-Punjab; Himalayas and Mongolia.
